2021 Bluebonnet Horse Expo Sponsors

The Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge is put on by Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of horses and other equines by educating and helping owners, assisting law enforcement agencies, rehabilitating abused horses and placing them into safe, permanent homes.

The goal of the Training Challenge is to help get training for the horses of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society to not only make them more adoptable – but also to show the world that rescue horses can do anything “regular” horses can do.

The human competitors in the Training Challenge donate their skills and time to train the horses, and they also donate the costs of caring for their equine partner (hay, grain, tack, etc.).

We’re inviting you to become a Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge Sponsor by either donating goods or money to the program. Not only do sponsors enable us to put on the best possible Rescue Horse Training Challenge, awarding greater prizes and attracting more participants to help more horses gain the skills they need to find forever homes, but also have access to some amazing advertising opportunities! Since 2007, we’ve held the Bluebonnet Horse Expo each October, and in 2009 we added the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. This event draws horse lovers from across Texas to meet and support rescue horses, learn from talented equine professionals, shop, and have fun.  Each year, the Expo and Challenge raises between a quarter and a third of the money we need to care for horses in our rescue that year, and the event also helps find homes for 25-40 formerly abused, neglected, or abandoned horses.

Bluebonnet Horse Expo sponsors allow us to put on a great expo. Funds from sponsorships pay for the cost of facility, cost of advertising and the myriad expenses that go into putting on a great event. Money raised during the event supports the horses of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society: it pays vet bills, farrier bills, costs of investigating neglect reports, costs of seizing horses, costs of preparing for court and more. Our goal is to pay all necessary expenses with sponsorships – so that all the money raised the day of the event can go to helping us help horses.
